A few things to know

Clear from
the beginning.

What kinds of businesses are a good fit?

Independent professionals and owner-operated service businesses with straightforward books are the initial focus. Businesses with inventory, multiple entities, complex revenue recognition, or specialized reporting need a separate scope review.

Do you prepare taxes or provide CPA services?

These services focus on bookkeeping and management financial information. Tax return preparation, tax advice, audits, reviews, and other assurance services are not included. I can organize your financial records for your tax preparer.

Can you work with my existing accounting software?

QuickBooks experience is part of my background. We’ll confirm your software and access requirements during the initial conversation. Software subscription fees remain separate. No QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage partner certification is claimed.

What if my books are behind or my workload changes?

Historical cleanup is quoted separately at $95/hour with a $350 project minimum. If transaction volume or complexity changes, we’ll discuss a revised scope and fee before additional work begins.

How will we share records and handle payments?

We’ll agree on an appropriate document-sharing method during onboarding. Please don’t send passwords, bank statements, Social Security numbers, or other sensitive financial information through this website or the consultation email. Business owners retain payment approval authority.
